The Legacy of Mom

Let’s be honest—Mother’s Day is beautiful, but it can be hard too. Some of us are celebrating, some of us are grieving, and some of us are still holding on to hope. But no matter where you find yourself, one thing’s for sure: mamas leave a legacy.

This week, we looked at Hagar—a mama who felt unseen, mistreated, and overwhelmed. But in the middle of her mess, God showed up. He didn’t fix everything right away, but He reminded her: “I see you. I hear you. I’ve got a plan.”

That’s what I want every mama (and spiritual mama, too) to carry today:

You are seen. Even when it feels like no one notices—God does.
You’re not buried—you’re planted. The weight you’re carrying now? God’s using it to grow something in you and through you.
The water comes to you. You don’t have to hustle or strive. God will bring what you need to keep going, not just for you—but for your kids too.

You don’t have to be perfect to build a legacy. You just have to keep showing up, keep praying, and keep trusting that what you’re doing matters—because it does.
