The Legacy That Grace Builds

We often think of legacy in terms of money, fame, or reputation—but what if your true legacy was made in the everyday, unseen moments?

In this week’s message, Legacy of Grace, we explored the story of Mephibosheth in 2 Samuel 9. Crippled and in hiding, Mephibosheth had nothing to offer. But King David, moved by covenant love, sought him out—not to punish, but to restore. He gave him land, dignity, and a permanent seat at the king’s table.

That’s a powerful picture of what God does for us.

Like Mephibosheth, many of us feel stuck in our own version of Lo Debar—a place of barrenness or shame. But grace isn’t waiting for you to get it all together. Grace comes to find you.

The legacy God wants to build in your life isn’t about what you can achieve—it’s about how you reflect His kindness, His presence, and His restoration. Grace doesn’t just cover the broken places; it transforms them into testimonies.

So what will your legacy be? Let it be one where grace did the heavy lifting—and where your life pointed others straight to the King.
